Hi everyone, just spoke with team (had to do our weekly call early this morning for me since we were not able to find a right time for it in the week (mostly my fault since in quite busy with my day job lately). The summary is quite simple, as you may noticed we release the TOR update last week (for our 3rd anniversary) so it means that zoidberg is now free to fully work over zarcanum with sowle. The ones that watch the github might have noticed there is a Zarcanum branch in there now (and also a zarcanum tx that zoidberg works on). The zarcanum work is DEEP changes into the core structure of zano transactions, this will mostly impact every single features of zano. Some might remember us talking about this but this means that in order to release faster we will probably disable the escrow contract for the time being and it will be reactived in a second release. THis allow team to avoid focusing on complex parts such as multi-sig for now. I think we should probably do an AMA over zarcanum next week if any of you are interested about knowing more and how it will impact them, since it changes the core structure of tx it also means that we will most likely have a new zano address scheme and in order for people to be able to have hidden amounts they will probably have to send their coins to this new address (same private key just a new transaction structure). This is mostly what team is working over and i believe we might all have alot of questions regarding this exciting upgrade. Also while team is working over that, they will mostly touch every corner of the code and will do refactoring at the same time to enhance the quality of the code, make it easier to read, easier to maintain which would lead to less possible bugs. We dont want to end up with some spaghetti code (not gonna throw project names here...)
