Hi everyone, ive had a team call this morning and here is the summary that came out.
Team is gonna release its first zarcanum testnet in about 2 weeks from now, it wont be available for us (will be private) so they can start testing it out from the ground up. Once they are ok with what they are seeing it will be repleased in the current public testnet. This means that if people are currently using it for their project it could impact them so if you are one of these person please contact me so we can reduce the impact of the release on your work. Team expect to require about 2-3 months of testnet before going to mainnet, so if no issues are found we could get this by the end of the year!
Also some zarcanum changes were made over the original work that was peer reviewed by Sarang so Sowle will do an update and will ask for a second round of peer review over it just to be sure that team didnt introduce any risks. This won't slow down anything, beside the time to redact the paper update, since those changes are already in the code.
Business wise pavel is doing nice progress as well, we already had one partner that will be using our private assets system for their own project and will sit over Zano network assets. We should get some informations over this project in about a month or set, they are setting up a website for it. Also we are in talk with a second group that is looking to build on top of Zano as well which will also provide more details a bit later than first group.
Community wise, someone on tg proposed to create a community fund that would allow people to donate Zano toward it, this found will be held by myself and will be an auditeable wallet, so it can be audited by anyone. More details will come from this once im back from vacation (leaving tomorrow for a week).
One last note, i just want to highlight a community member effort that went to a crypto conference and distributed zano flyers and had talks with a few people over Zano when the context was suitable for it. This is a great example of dedication and how we can together contribute to the success of this project! So thank you Maili for your effort, time and dedication toward Zano, really well appreciated!
As always feel free to reach out if you want more details over all this or simply want to discuss, enjoy!

Way ahead of you @brian_armstrong!
5/ Blockchains are not going to be open ledgers forever. Just like the internet moved from HTTP to HTTPS as the default, blockchains are going to move to more private transactions over time, and this is a good thing for consumer protection. We should encourage it, not hinder it.
